Eligibility: Did You arrive in the uk before January 1 1973 from a British common wealth nation?
Did Your Parents? Or Grandparents?
If so you may be eligible for Wind rush Compensation..
Most Caribbean Islands and some Afrikan Regions qualify..
You can apply for ‘Deceased’ Family Members, and for Yourself..
Evidence that You arrived in the UK and have been here since before 1972, is required.
Or Evidence You are related to the Person who arrived in the UK before January 1 1973.
Compensation is being awarded for two elements, The 1st being ‘Immigration & Detention’ including ‘legal fees’ You may have had to pay.
The 2nd element is for ‘Impact on Life’. This is where You describe how You have been impacted by the Wind rush ordeal.
If You are applying due to being a Family Member, explain how Their experience impacted You & Your life..
